Tonight’s Fort Smith Historical Society Meeting was an exciting one. Introduced by our beloved Billy Higgins, Tom Wing shared with us his adventure in researching, restoring and sharing The Drennen-Scott home. All by itself, the property is beautiful. But today’s visitors learn about it’s history and the folks who peopled it because of the years of hard work Tom and his fellow historians put into it. Today, it’s an important link to the past and a way of life both very different and pretty much the same as today.
