“Genetic DNA” analysis was the technique used by Paul Holes and the team to solve the Golden State Killer crimes committed in the 1970s. Since then, many cold cases have been reevaluated and everyday suspects in cold cases have been identified. But DNA only says who left genetic evidence of their crimes. Why, when and sometimes even how these crimes were committee still requires a lot of work. Still we must celebrate even partial resolutions for cases like this one where loved ones just disappeared.
