A Small Town Somewhere is the first novel by Deborah Spencer Foliart of several to come. It tells the story of Abby Carter, a small-town girl living in Chicago and working on advertising campaigns for a large company. When she feels she’s been treated unfairly, she quits her job and moves back to Logan Creek, Arkansas where she grew up.
Â
Abby has many friends in Logan Creek. A group she calls The Leading Ladies band together to help her find a job with her old boyfriend while he is running for mayor of the city. Although she has a love in Chicago, she can’t ignore the feelings she still has for her former boyfriend.
Â
This book is well written and is a page turner. There is sex in the story which makes the book ideal for those with a mature view of relationships.
Â
Stay tuned for additional novels about Logan’s Creek. Deborah Spencer Foliart has more to give.
