TL (Terry) Gould’s moving book about grievously wounded US service men struggling through the early months of recovery might be considered “old” these days. After all, it came out in 2012. However, all these years later, I still think about it from time to time…and wonder how those guys are doing now…and how our wounded veterans from more recent wars are doing. Are we treating all of our returning service personnel with the respect they deserve? Are we more understanding? We can only hope…
